Job Duties:
(i) To control narcotics crimes with in the jurisdiction of ANF Station of the area assigned by the concerned offices.
(ii) Coordination with other law enforcement agencies in the concerned area.
(iii) Investigation of narcotics smuggling cases.
(iv) Supervision of subordinate staff working under him in the respective section/ANF Station.

iii)To assist Dy. Director(law)/Assistant Director(Law) for the preparation and vetting of Law/Rules relating to narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances/controlled substance envisaged in CNSA-1997.
iv)To assist Dy. Director(law)/Assistant Director(Law) in examination and opinion about narcotics laws. Dangerous Drug Laws of the other countries.
